The Software Update Utility is a web distribution approach for providing STACK-IT software updates.

(Before performing this procedure close Software Updater.)

1. Click the image to the right to install the Update Utility.
2. Click RUN (some browsers, click second RUN)
3. Click UNZIP (then click OK)
4. When Unzip is complete, click OK
5. Click CLOSE

NOTE: Administrator user permission may be required to run the setup. If so, follow the instructions below.

1. Right-Click the desired node link to the right
2. Save target to temporary location
3. Right-Click saved file, select "Run as Administrator"
4. Click UNZIP (then click OK) and follow on screen instructions
5. When Unzip is complete, Click OK
6. Click CLOSE

Uninstalling:
To uninstall the Software Update Utility:

1. Open the Windows Control Panel
2. Select "Programs and Features" (or "Add/Remove Programs")
3. Select "AMS Web Software Update Utility"
4. Click "Uninstall"

License:
The Software Update Utility (SWUpdate) is provided as a component all AMS software products that have the capability for electronic updating. It is governed by the license agreement for the product with which it was originally delivered.

This download link provides a convenient method to refresh the SWUpdate program without requiring the complete reinstallation of the primary software product.

The standard STACK-IT Report Layout files. The self-extracting ZIP file will reinstall the standard report layout data files.

To download these files, follow the instructions below:

1. If any report layouts have been customized, export them to a temporary location.
2. Click the button to the right.
3. Click "Run" to install from the web, or "Save" to download for installing later.
4. Some browsers require clicking "Run" a second time.
5. If you did not install Stack-It in the default location, change the "Unzip to folder:" location to the location where Stack-It is installed.
6. Click "Unzip".
7. Click "OK"
8. Click "Close"
9. If any customized layouts were exported (Step 1), import them back in from the temporary location.

Stack-It stencil fonts. These stencil fonts will only work with Stack-It, you must have the Stencil option installed in your program.

1. Click the button to the right to download the font files.
2. Unzip the font files to the same location as your Stackit.exe program file.

Click the button to the right for the Protégé Driver selection page. This driver is only required if you are using the Protégé touch panel.

STACK-IT Free Trial data files. The self-extracting ZIP file will reinstall the free trial data files.

1. Click the button to the right to download the font files.
2. Unzip the font files to the same location as your Stackit.exe program file.
